Who is responsible for your data

What data we store

• Account: name, email and password — only as an irreversible hash. With Google sign-in — the name, email and profile photo from Google.
• What you keep in Helper: tasks, events and reminders, notes, expenses and your own categories, the "About me" questionnaire and what Helper has remembered at your request or from a conversation.
• Conversations with Helper: your messages, Helper's answers and the photos you sent to the chat.
• Settings: language, time zone, currency, cities for the weather and, if location is on, your last approximate place (accurate to about 1 km).
• Mail — only if you connected a mailbox: the mailbox address and the app password (stored encrypted, AES-256); about emails — the sender, subject, a short line about the content and a retelling if you asked for one. We do not store the emails themselves.
• Notifications: the device token for push notifications.
• Feedback: the text you sent. Answer ratings: with a report — your question, the Helper answer the report is about and anything you added; with "Good answer" — only the mark, without the conversation text.
• Service data: how many AI requests the account made (token counts, no text) and daily limit counters; if the owner gave you free access — your email on that list and the end date; server logs — IP address, time and request address.

Voice is not stored on our server: the recording is sent for speech recognition. A receipt photo is not stored either — only the expense is kept.

Who receives your data

Only what a particular feature needs to work:

• Anthropic (USA) — Claude models: Helper's answers, reading photos and receipts, sorting and retelling emails, the day summary, web search and reading web pages when you ask. Anthropic's policy
• OpenAI (USA) — speech recognition and reading answers aloud in voice mode. OpenAI's policy
• Google (USA) — Google sign-in, if you chose it, and delivery of push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Google's policy
• Resend (USA) — sending emails with a code (sign-up, password reset).
• netcup (Germany) — the server Helper runs on; it is located in Vienna (Austria).
• Namecheap (USA) — registrar of the helper-ai.app domain and forwarding of emails sent to support@helper-ai.app.
• Hetzner (Germany) — encrypted backups; they cannot be read without our key.
• Weather: MET Norway (Norway) receives approximate coordinates (about 1 km) for the forecast; OpenStreetMap — for the place name and city search (OSMF policy). We do not send them your name or email.
• Flights and eSIM: links to Aviasales, Airalo and Yesim are affiliate links via Travelpayouts (Go Travel Un Limited, Hong Kong). We send them only the link itself (route and dates, or the plan), without your data; when you open the link, Travelpayouts sees it like any website. If you buy through such a link, Helper may receive a reward. The flight search at flights.helper-ai.app is a Travelpayouts page on our address: what you search for there and its cookies are processed by Travelpayouts under its own policy; we receive from them only the total number of clicks and orders, without data about people. • Mail services (Gmail, Yandex, Mail.ru, iCloud, Yahoo) — Helper signs in only to the mailboxes you connected, with your app password.

Where your data is stored

Helper's server, where your data is stored, is in Austria (Vienna, netcup hosting). AI answers, voice, Google sign-in and code emails are handled by US companies — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Resend — so what these features need is transferred to the USA.

How long we keep it

• Chat photos — 7 days, then deleted (the conversation itself stays).
• Email records — 30 days.
• Daily limit counters — 2 days.
• Server logs — 10 days.
• Backups (encrypted) — up to 31 days: after you delete your account, your data disappears from backups within this period.
• Everything else — while you have an account or until you delete it yourself.

Your rights and deletion

• Delete your account: "Settings" → "Delete account". All app data, sign-in and sessions are deleted at once. Without the app — on the page helper-ai.app/delete-account, with a code sent to the account email. If it does not work — write to support@helper-ai.app.
• To get a copy of your data, correct it, restrict its processing or object to it — write to support@helper-ai.app, we reply within one month.
• To complain to a supervisory authority: in Serbia it is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs), or the authority in your country.

Legal basis

We process data so that the app works the way you use it (contract), and we keep server logs and limits to protect the service from abuse (legitimate interest).

Security

• Connection to the server — HTTPS only.
• The account password is stored only as a hash, mail app passwords — encrypted.
• Other users cannot see your data: every request checks whose account it is. The owner of Helper sees only service information — email, name, dates and the number of AI requests — to run and protect the service; the content of tasks, notes, expenses, conversations and mail is not viewed. Reports and feedback you send are visible to the owner.
• We do not sell data and do not show ads.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
